Health Promoting School Award
Well done to the Healthy Promoting School Committee guided by Ms O'Brien and Ms Kelly and supported by Paul Gillen H.S.E. The Health Promoting School involved the whole school community coming together and working towards better health for all over the past three years. This process encouraged our school community to focus on four key Elements; Environment, Curriculum and Learning, Policy and Planning and Partnerships. Paul Gillen complimented the school on it's commitment to the programme and presented the school with the Health Promoting School Flag.
Healthy Eating Week was a great success in Coláiste an Chreagáin. Congratulations to our prize winners! Students enjoyed healthy treats before completing our Special Olympics sponsored walk, organised by the Girls’ Squad. Thank you to Ms. Finnerty and Ms. Higgins for preparing the treats and supporting our healthy‑eating focus. Well done to all involved.
